My mother brought in a lost phone and the police there accused her of stealing it. My mother, who had to rush home to cook dinner and do the laundry, had found a lost phone in Chinatown and didn’t know where the nearest police station was. Thus, she brought the phone to the police station near our house, which is this one. The police officer, without even trying to understand what happened, immediately questioned her and accused her of stealing. My mom had to give me a call since she is not fluent in English and the officer that spoke to me was pretty rude. The officer ended up photocopying my mom’s ID. Hopefully that’ll be used for thanking her once the phone is returned to the owner.
There are a handful of cops here that work the 4-12 tour that need to visit to the NYPD shrink in Lefrak, they clearly suffer from extreme paranoia. They are constantly worried about why a young woman walks by the precinct randomly to get to get to her apartment. It is the closest route to my house since I live on that block. The officers literally threw a s**t fit about it. They don't like when people walk by the precinct because they fear I (or someone else) will witness them doing something bad that would warrant a departmental trial. Why else would they be so concerned about someone walking by? Only a guilty person acts this way. A group of officers here, while on job time, were overheard saying this: "...She (me) walks by the precinct everyday during change of tour looking for attention." This blatant lie among the dirty looks I received from them prompted me to talk to an officer in Internal Affairs about their uncanny behavior, and she confirmed that none of those times were during change of tour... I then asked her, "well if they're LYING about this, what won't they lie about?" Some of you ought to be embarrassed for trying to pick on a female who did absolutely nothing but walk to the store or to her apartment. Who knew that was a crime!
Update 11/9/17 beware of this precint using extremley lowkey cars that cant even pass inspection or emmosions one lf them is a 1989 toyota corrolla white fully tinted you cant see in or out, and another one is like a 2010 toyota highlander baby blue also tinted, these cars like to spy on innocent people in hopes to learn more about them which is very illegal and in violation of privacy, dont let these cars near you they will try to eaves drop on your conversations, they are using cointel pro tactics which are highly illegal stay safe people and god bless
The news media is consistently saying to the citizens of New York see something say something. I brought something up the 62nd precinct and their response was very simple OK!
A sergeant in here is obviously proud of being accused for sexual harassment. He told every cop in the 62 that the report was filed against him & I never understood why he felt the need to volunteer to tell this to everyone he works with, I would think that is embarrassing. I never tell all my co workers my business. He points me out to them & since he's been doing this the pct has blacklisted me, they refuse to help me, in fact they won't acknowledge me at all &/or they will literally run away from me. I am not joking btw. They took an oath to protect & serve so they are expected to do their job, also he was reprimanded for it so obviously he's guilty. Here's the thing, don't use your job to obtain someone's address then pop up at their residence late at night, unnannounced, trying to have sex with them, then you wouldn't have anything to worry about! Sounds simple enough to me! I never expressed any romantic interest in him so he was pretty bold to attempt that. People typically don't go around making these type of allegations (esp against cops) for no reason... Just saying!
This local officer from the 62 precint that goes by the last name of SALCEDO should be deprived of his gun and badge after he unlawfully pulled me over and claimed i was doing 40 ina 25 which is false and then tries to humiliate me by saying hes doing me a favor by writing me up for 39.... This officer is a revenue generating rat, a fraud and a filthy liar abusing his power.
