A beautiful stadium with very friendly staff. I would give it 5 stars but the parking situation is horrendous be warned and be early before and event. Lots of good food options and there's a Shake Shack right next to it but the line wraps around the corner as usual. Otherwise a nice stadium I would visit again. We had floor seats and the service was amazing.
Great space an it doesn't feel too big. The seats have durable cushions and they were really comfortable. The temperature was not frigid like some arenas. There's plenty of concession strands to satisfy everyone.
It sucks. I stood in line for 40 minutes waiting to pick up my press credential for the Nets game. They made no effort at all to try to get the media people in. In most arenas media does not have to wait in line with the regular employees to pick up their credentials. That was not the case at the Barclay Center. The Yankees are one of few teams that know how to get people inside in a timely manner. I guess that is why they are winners. The Barclay Center can learn a lot from Yankee Stadium.
We saw Roger Waters here. We were to the side of the stage and pretty high up, but the view was still pretty good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Concessions are expensive but that's par for the course, we go expecting to pay that much. Subway station a block away and plenty of surrounding restaurants so the location is perfect. Overall a great experience, won't hesitate to return.
Great venue for Basketball. You get a good view from almost every seat. One issue is prices for food and drinks are very high. In my opinion above average for sports arenas.
I've heard better acoustics and sound systems at other arenas. It had way too much rumble that you couldn't hear the lighter notes in the music which makes it difficult to figure out which song is currently playing until way late into the chorus. Maybe that's something to think about if you'll be in the upper seating area. Also if you plan on sitting next to the stage, don't expect to see much of the show. The big screens next to the stage are only facing the audience towards the front and not on the sides. The big machinery hanging from the ceiling will also block your view. So spend a little extra to get on the lower levels. I don't know why they couldn't turn on the big center screens like they do for basketball games.
