Can never ever find an associate for help and when you do, you have to wait a really long time for assistance.
I have been going to this location fairly often over the past few years, and I'd have to say that it's gotten better overall. I guess that a lot depends on which day and what time you go; I've gone at various days & times, and it's been a bit above average. Salespeople are still hard to come by, but tend to be good & informative once you track one of them down. I have been treated nicely by the majority, although some have been curt. I have also been given me incorrect information on a couple of occasions, such as if they carry a particular product, or where certain products are. On the plus side, I have noticed that the lines to check out have gotten shorter, perhaps due to the Self- Checkout kiosks that they have. The store is huge, with lots of variety and parking spaces, and the hours are more than reasonable. The prices aren't the best, in that you can almost always find better deals online (I'm not sure how they compare to other such stores such as Lowe's). I'd give this location a try if you happen to be around or in need of something immediately; otherwise you can do without the visit.
I do not know why. But what ever I ask employees of this store they always sent me to 53rd part of the store. Not helpful at all. 4 star for the store. Not for employees...
Absolutely horrific customer service! Stay clear of short black lady named Terry! I live very close to this store and will have to drive out of my way no to boycott this store and highly recommend everyone do the same! I spend on average of $500-$1,000 a month in home depot to get stuff for my business and will gladly take my business elsewhere. Recently went in to get a bunch of very expensive LED bulbs that cost $13 each and took all the ones off the shelf and asked for two ladies to help me find more...one lady looked up in her computer and said they definitely have many more boxes of these bulbs and introduced me to another lady named Terry to help me find more bulbs...Terry pointed to a shelf and gave me some stock numbers and said look for it. I tried to explain that I didn't understand where the numbers were on the thousands of boxes that I was looking at and she went off on me like a mad woman literally yelling so hard that she had spit flying from her mouth. I told her that I don't need her help anymore and she literally would not leave me alone, just kept yelling to other customers "do you see whats going on here? Do you here this guy?" I haven't seen such an anger filled person in a long time and will gladly take my business somewhere else. The store is littered with empty packages behind every box on every shelf, shoplifting is out of control, and when you try to find people to help you they pretend that they don't see you and literally turn around and walk the other way to avoid you. One of the worst stores all together I have ever been to in my life. Big waste of time going here, I have wasted hours in this location looking for items before, never again.
Out of the four home depot's I've visited, this one seemed more organized, structured. It felt more like everyone actually cared what the store looked like, no garbage on the floor, more employees and willing to help you out, and the store had a larger variety of things to buy.
