Great old-timey Italian butcher /deli. Old skill ways and rules. You take a number and shut up. While you're waiting look around and decide. Then when you're called you're ready and they will assist you and not rush until you are completely done. You have their undivided attention and if you're nice and polite maybe you'll get a rice ball. All products are of the highest quality. And my personal secret tip. Order an Italian Sandwich on a Hoagie. Have them cut it into 3. I ordered mine with sundried-tomatoes and some of the oil from same.
Called about getting a porkloin with the skin on for a Thanksgiving porchetta. After the phone got passed around for a few minutes, I was told they don't get them in like that. This is odd because 1) Are they not butchering whole pigs? Who's breaking the meat down? and 2) Porchetta is a standard Italian dish and a cut of meat like this should definitely be kept at real Italian butcher. I didn't bothering going in so I can't speak for the shop itself.
