This place is only suitable to children who are not afraid of dentists. My child has trepidations and this dentist did not ease her fears. Parents need to show passivity when coming here, not show any disagreements to her plans or she will tell you, you're not the right fit for her office. She does not work with you. She told me to schedule my child's appts. at 4 different times, pushing me to accept weekdays in the mornings at inconvenient times when my child needs to be at school or I may need to work. She was very resistant when I asked for a possible better schedule and told me to go elsewhere.Her angry retort scared my child. My 2nd opinion Ped. Dentist gave us her undivided attention, explained in detail.This dentist said, half the work recommended by Dr. Hernandez was not necessary and the work my child needed could be done in one office visit. Amazing staff, great doctor - highly recommend Pearly Whites Dentistry! Our pediatrician sent us here before my daughter was 2 yrs old and we've been coming here ever since. Dr. Hernandez puts on a show for the children - from flavored toothpaste to character-shaped toothbrushes, their favorite cartoons playing on the screen, the visit flies by like some magic show. Diane, the lovely office manager, is super personable and helpful. Love this office - 5stars+!

Warm and friendly environment. My children have been coming here since they turned one. They look forward to their dentist appointments and playing with the cool toys. Dr. Hernandez is patient with my little ones and very thorough. Can't say enough about her staff!!! So welcoming.
Good dentist, but UFT union members beware. The office says they accept UFT Dental, BUT they mean they take payment however are not in network and use their prices. Two fillings and gas cost $200.
